Hi, I’m Elizabeth Olson — founder of Teal Rose Digital and a passionate advocate for small business success.
With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, including leadership roles at a Fortune 100 fintech company, I’ve helped businesses of all sizes navigate the complex world of technology and digital operations. Throughout my career, I’ve been deeply focused on data — starting as a database administrator, evolving into a data engineer, and eventually leading teams of data engineers responsible for mission-critical analytics and insights.
Working inside one of the world’s most competitive industries taught me the importance of building systems that are not only beautiful, but secure, efficient, and scalable.
Along the way, I realized that many small businesses were underserved — they needed not just technical expertise, but someone who truly understood their challenges and could offer personalized solutions.
That’s why I started Teal Rose Digital: to combine deep technical skills with a hands-on, relationship-driven approach to website design and business consulting — helping small businesses build strong, strategic foundations for growth.
